Your dentist first covers up your lips and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed. Next, a hydrogen peroxide whitening gel is applied to your teeth, and then exposed to a special LED light for approximately 15 minutes. The LED light works to break apart carbon bonds that create the stains and discolouration. This procedure is repeated 3-4 times for best results.

Neighbourhood Dental’s take-home teeth whitening kit makes it possible to whiten your teeth while in the comfort of your own home, and at your own convenience. Custom-made trays will be created from molds created by taking an impression of your teeth, which will be sent home with you, along with a whitening gel that you will put in your trays. With approximately one hour of wear per day, for 1-2 weeks, our professional strength whitening agent can remove internal and surface stains from your teeth, helping you achieve a whiter and brighter smile.
